I apologise if this is not the proper forum for this. I will appreciate comments based on experience.

I attended visa interview in lagos early 2001 and was refused with passport stamped. The passport was subsequently lost.

I am now residing in UK and due for another interview at US embassy shortly.

Can i state the fact i was once refused? If i dont, are the embassies linked and can they get to know i was once refused.

Can you please clarify, you had a visa intreview and refused a visa at the US consulate? and your question pertains to US immigration?

You may be able to get a better response in the US immigration forum, although the moderators of that forum are common to this.
