Need clarification on filing for dependent for my wife - IMP

Hello there,

I am going to file my study visa in coming month and I am married and we were blessed with a baby gal three months back.
I wanted to file my student VISA aalong with dependent VISA for my wife. We don't want to take baby along with us right now as my mother can take care of her better here than us in a new place. I am filing for my wife so that she can spend some time with me and then come back and spend some time with baby - which means she will not be staying in UK throughout.
I wanted to know would it be fine if I do not file VISA for my daughter - can there be a question that why we are not filing for her?
or shall i file for all 3 of us? what is the best way to file my case...
