Need help and advice to travel with EEA2 RESIDENCE PERMIT

Hi, me and my wife are living in UK and we are visiting Romania in couple of weeks , my wife is Romanian and i am Indian an i have a EEA Residence card permit on my passport. I need some URGENT help and advice as i am very confused about after visiting the Romanian embassy. I went to for a advice and the lady in there said to me that i do not need a visa to visit Romania ,but she said i need this documents.

1) bank statement ( and i should have 50 euros per day X no of days iam staying)
2) health insurance
3) invitation letter.

But my question i have been reading post here and did some homework online it says when you have EEA residence card permit you do not need all this documents fand are exempted, specially i am worried about Invitation letter since i am going to live with my in-laws and in there house. why i need a invitation letter? and i said this to the lady there but she said the same things and was getting annoyed of me asking again and again.So i had to keep my mouth shut. So if some one can let me know do i need this documents or not and are they are really necessary if i have EEA RP card. Thanks in advance.

Your invitation letter is travelling with you. You was invited from your wife.
Beside that none of the 3 points are valid because you are a family member of a eu citizen.

Thanks for the reply bro, Do you have any direct link for this information what you gave me so i can download and ask at the embassy and even at the airport if they create a problem from boarding the flight.Sorry for the inconvience iam much worried because i already booked the tickets and do not want to loose the money.

The airline check only if a visa or a visa exception is needed. Your EEA Residence card is your visa exception and you have to present it beside your passport at the check-in. Same at the airport in Romania. That is it.
The 3 points would be a precondition if you would apply for a normal visitor visa at the Romanian embassy.
