I and my wife are planning to invite her parents to visit us for 3 weeks in UK. They live in India
Our situation: I’m a British citizen and in full-employment. My wife is on dependent visa holding Indian passport .We are renting a 3 bedroom house. And we have a 3 years son who is holding British citizenship .
My parents situation:
My father is retired pensioner. He doesn't have much money in his bank account . He only has 60000 Indian rupees.
My mother not employed and she is housewife. Basically, she fully depends on my fathers income. She has almost £6000 worth of gold. They have a 2 bedroom house on their name and all children are married and settled .
I will sponsor their visit in UK and provide an accommodation, food and any expenses which will occur during their stay in UK. Also I will pay for the air tickets as well.
I’m trying to fill the application form for family visitor (VAF1B) and straggling with questions in Part 5 of the application.
Applicant details : my father is applicant here :
Q: What is your total monthly income from all sources of employment or occupation after tax?
He is retired and pensioner now and getting 33000 Indian rupees as pension/Salary . Shall i just mention 33k here?
Q: Do you receive income from any other sources, including friends or family?
He doesnt get anything other than pension so shall i write zero here or something more apporpriate ?
Q: Do you have savings, property or other income (for example from stocks and shares)?
my father has 2 bedroom house in his name and mother has £6000 worth of gold ? shall i mention it as is or anything else ?
Q: How much of your total monthly income is given to your family members and other dependants?
all children are settled and dont need money from them , what shall i mention here ?
Q: How much do you spend each month on living costs?
This varies from month to month. Is it OK to put average expenditure?
Q: What money is available to you for your trip?
they have no money i am their sponser and providing all the things . what shall i write here ? son is sponsoring ?
Q: Who will pay for your travel to the UK?
I will pay for the air tickets. Shall I just write “son?
Q: Who will pay for your expenses such as accommodation and food?
They will stay with us and I will pay for expenses. Can I just say again “son”?
Q: If someone other than yourself is paying for all or any part of this visit, how much money will they give you?
This is a bit a confusing question. Since I will provide a sponsorship for accommodation, food and any expenses occur during their stay. What shall I put here? Is it rough amount or needs to be precise?
Q: What is the cost to you personally of your stay in the UK?
Again, I’m not sure what to write here.
About my sponsorship details :
I dont have payslips with me but i get my salary credited to my bank account .
so just the employment letter and bank statements enough or is it complusory to have payslips ?
I would appreciate any of yours help.
Thank you.
