Post by hayotlife » Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:16 pm

Hi everyone,
this is my first post, i would be very gratefull if you could help in answering this question:

D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document.

The thing is that i dont know my EC referance number as i the visa was issued in 2003 in my old passport. My old passport(expired) has been given back to issuing authority.

Please advice me,

Leave it blank than. They will anyway have your records connected to your old passport.

Yes - go to question D6 No - go to question D11

Should i answer it No, then?? since i have my current LTR in my valid passport?

Visa Application

Post by YourContact » Fri Sep 04, 2009 9:51 am

Hello!

Unfortunately there is no additional method to track entry clearance reference numbers. The reference number is, in effect, the visa number and without it you can’t submit your application. I would suggest just making a note with regards to the type of visa** Moderator: No more advertising here; I have removed the links**** obtained and explanation of the passport being expired and handed back to the issuing authority. :D
