Help with Tier 2 General Dependant

Post by Eli1986_UK » Sat Dec 20, 2014 10:05 pm

Hello Guys,

I'm in UK in Tier 2 General Visa and I'm getting married now. I'm trying to create an application for my wife but having difficulty in selecting the correct options for the below three options:

Reason For Visit:
Visa Type:
Visa Sub Type:

The below ones came close but I don't see anywhere that says Tier 2 Dependant. Any advise/help is highly appreciated.

Reason For Visit: Work
Visa Type: Tier 2 (General Visa)
Visa Sub Type: General Migrant, upto 3 years.

**Need help with Dependent Visa**

Post by Eli1986_UK » Thu Apr 07, 2016 9:56 pm

Hello All,

I'm getting married by the end of this month and I'm planning to bring my wife to UK with Tier 2 Dependent visa. Currently I'm living in an shared house and I will be moving to an en-suite room with my wife after I come to UK after marriage. I understand that I need to submit a lodger agreement for visa process, My new landlord has said that he is okay to provide it. Is this sufficient or do I need any other document from him?

You also need to submit evidence that the accommodation will be 'adequate' and not over-crowded once your wife joins you.
(Casa, not CR001)

Hello,

Thank you for the response. When you mean "evidence", do I have to submit any photographs or what kind of proof (in specific) do I have to submit?

Either a report from the landlord the Council or Estate Agent inspection report confirming how many rooms and occupants living in the property

Hi,

It was my understanding that tenancy agreement was sufficient for this purpose.
Actually, no such document is explicitly requested by UKVI, but most people send it.

Cheers,
Guz

Hello Guz,

The landlord said that he can't provide a tenancy agreement but he can provide only a lodger agreement and I'm not sure if lodger agreement is enough for visa submission.
