Need help - work before workpermit

Post by iskander » Fri Apr 21, 2006 12:00 pm

I have recently applied for HSMP (which I am pretty certain I'll get but in probably 6 weeks) and I have passed an interview and the company started a work permit but the solicitor advised it will be at least 4 weeks. The company is keen on getting me started ASAP. I wouldn’t want to let them down, so would this be an option to start earlier: start a contract between them and my company overseas and work on their office for my company?

none. I am a non-EU citizen. At the present moment all I have is a visitor VISA that I acquired for the interviews. I have had several visit-business visas in the past, but I can't see how those can help.

In order to start working, before you get your HSMP approval and EC, your company need to sponsor you for work permit and you must apply from your home countries (as you explained that you are on visitor visa)
