Do I need a home inspection report for Tier 2 dependant visa

Hi,

I am going to apply for my wife to be in october, as I am on tier 2 general visa. I have rented the flat for the accomodation purpose and just wondering do i need a home inspection report for visa purpose? is this a necessary requirment?

Who can give me this inpestion report? My landlord owns a property company which let the properties and he is willing to give me an inspection report. Will it be suffice for visa requirement if there is any?

not needed but she has to meet the maintenance requirements

Thanks Manci...This will ease the process...but on safe side as my landlord is willing to give me i want to include in the docs..just wondering have you got any format for this letter so i can draft for him to sign it off....or point me in that direction plz..thanks
