Need Immigration Advice, please help!

Hi,

I am a US-citizen who has been granted a spouse-settlement visa, which unfortunately ran out in September while my husband and I have been living in the United States. However, we are considering moving back to the UK. THe problem that we face is that neither of us have proof of employment upon returning there, since we have both been living in the United States for the last two years. I was wondering how I go about immigrating back to the UK, and what sort of forms I should fill out. If anyone has any advice regarding this dilemma, please let me know. It will be greatly appreciated!
