If some one can clarify on below doubts?
Me and my wife are planning to migrate to UK within 6 months.
1) I am 3.5 years software experience developer worked in top IT MNC - (india) product developement. BE in computer from TOP engineering college.My skill set is c++, COM/DCOM XML into product development. What is job market for current skill set?
2) My wife is in application testing(3.5 years of experience) - skill set : ISTQB, ISEB certified. Knowledge of QTP, LoadRunner, Test Director, SQA process. What is job market for this skill set?
3) From old threads it looks like - I need to quit my job here in india , come to UK and start search. Is there anyway to secure my job before coming to UK?
4) After googling for jobs in UK - it looks are there r more opportunities in banking IT sector. Are there big product cmnies having development center in UK. I only know abt Oracle. Most of other software dev comanies have marketing offices.
5) What is time generally require to get job in UK.( time taken for shortlist, interview and result) though it depends on my skill - But here I am only concern abt current vacancies. I am confident of turning into offer If I get chance for interview at 4-5 companies.
6) Here in India - top companies source of recruitment is mainly through employee referral. I dont have any friend in UK. What is way to send my resume to such comapanies apart from applying on job sites.

. I would really appriciate your help/suggestion/tips.Note: Me and wife decided to UK mainly because of HSMP - easy and legal way to obtain Visa for both of us. Getting good job/getting international exposure/understanding different culture is our main aim rather than earning more money(when u convert into Indian Rs).
