Need info on docs required for student dependent visa!

Hi All ,

I received my student visa recently! Now I'm planning to apply for dependent visa for my wife. I'm confused as what all docs to be submitted along with the dependent visa application???? Can any 1 please tell the required docs. Also please let me know how many days does it take to receive depedent visa. (My wife is working & she had been to UK last year for few months from her previous company).

You have to prove that you can maintain herself with resource to public funds.

one of my friends applied for a student dependent visa few days back,when they applied they showed Income tax returns, professional work experience letter,releiving letter and believe it or not they gave a letter stating why the student needs his spouse along?? ...screws my mind..... Is this docs really necessary...some1 please tell me the exact files needed...I WANT MY WIFE(student DEPENDANT) TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN UK so what DOCS shld i SHOW.....i will b showing the following docs ONLY.....
1) Student visa stamping
2) university offer letter
3) bank letter showing funds
4) 3 months bank statements
5) marriage certificate
6) Accommodation details
7) education marks card

hey folks can anyone confirm on the docs please?????????
