Need notarized copy of passport?

Post by blt178 » Mon Jul 23, 2007 4:50 pm

I'm providing my original birth certificate as proof of my age qualifications. I was thoroughly reading the HSMP application and it stated that I should also include a "notarised copy of the personal details page of your passport."

Is this STILL a requirement even through I'm providing the original birth cert? Or is this only required if I cannot produce that birth certificate?

I think the reference to the notarised copy of the passport is included in the exceptional consideration sub-section of the age assessment section, such that submission of the original birth certificate or full driving licence obviates the need to submit the passport copy. AG

Ok good! I'm just afraid of missing something and wasting all that money!

And a big THANKS Gordon... you specifically have been very helpful in your prompt and informed replies. :)
