Hi,
I sent my application by Post with my passport the 24th June 2011 for citizenship (I have an ILR and more than 6 years in UK). the process of naturalisation will take at least 2 months or i need to travel during the august month. how do i get my passport back from HO without disturbing the process ? any phone number to call in ? will they send it to me back as they already checked evrything.

I am in the same situation. I rang them they told me if you request ur passport , this may delay the process of the BC application.

If only you had applied via NCS, you would have had your passport in hand.
Anyway its too early for now, if you wait for about 4 wks , your documents would have been scanned into the system and you would be able to request back your passport.
