Do we need to score same (or higher) points during extention

Post by cooltt_18 » Fri Jul 15, 2011 11:25 am

Hi,

I've tried to find out more but without any concrete answers to the following questions:

1) Do we need to score the same (or higher) number of points in the Tier 1 Visa Extention application compared to Initial Application?
eg. I scored 80 points in my Initial Application. Does it mean I have to score 80 points or more in 1st Extention application?

2) Do we need to score the same (or higher) number of points in the Tier 1 Visa 2nd Extention compared to the 1st Tier 1 Extention or PR application application?
eg. I scored 80 points in my 1st Extention Application. Does it mean I have to score 80 points or more in my 2nd Extention or PR application?

Thanks and Regards

Refer to eligibility and look at what it says under how many points you need for visa extension and settlement for settlement criteria.

Thanks.

So it means that the number of points you scored on your previous application (eg. 80) is irrelevant to the points you have to score in your current application (minimum points for qualification).

Am I correct?
