Do I need spouse's address proof for T2 Gen extension

Post by kinn » Sun Aug 03, 2014 9:29 pm

Hi I'm planning to apply for my visa extension this month. I have all the required documents, except the address proof for my wife.

- She's not enrolled in voters list
- No Bank account or Credit card in her name
- She not listed as a tenant on council bill.

Given my situation, I would like to know the following;

1. Is it mandatory to have spouses address proof to apply for Visa extension ?
2. If yes, what are my options ?

FYI : I meet all other qualifications to be eligible for a 3 year visa extension.

Cheers,

Kiran AK

Assuming she's applying as your dependant and assuming you have documentation to confirm your marriage, you don't need an address proof in her name.
