Need to understand Process..

Hi there
This query may look very stupid to most of you, but I am not clear about the process yet.

I have applied BC for my kid through MN1 form (section 1(3)).
Could some one please guide me about the process going forward. Like
1) Once this application is approved, I can simply apply for British Passport ? I believe that I can apply this from Post office.. but not sure yet.

2) My kid is holding passport from my native country, do I need to surrender this once I will get British Passport ? and then apply to get Visa for him to visit my native country ?

Correct , When you will got the BC Certificate , you apply for passport either through post office check in service or direct postal service

It depends whether your country allowed dual nationality or not
