Hello everyone,
I need advice on how to go about this case I am in same position as this person. I recently applied for a renewal for a 2.5 resident permit and also to switch to a 5 years family route instead of the 10 years route I was before. According to the immigration law of paragraph E-ECPT 3.1 and E-ECPT 3.2 I have distinguish all requirements that qualify me to be able to switch to 5 years route. I earn over £20,200 on average before tax annually, I live on my own and have been able to financially support myself without recourse to public funds and have supported my british daughter in all needed as a father. And also, I have passed the A2 english language speaking test with distinction and have supported my application with every right supporting documents needed of me to renew and switch to a 5 years route. After, attending the super priority service appointment, few days later, I got a letter from the HO informing me that I have been granted a 30months limited leave to remain on the ten years parent route. Instead of a 5 years route I applied for. It surprise me that, no reference was made about my 5 years route application at all in the post. I will be writing to the home office this week, to know, why I was not granted what I applied for and also to remind them to reconsider my application and to put me on the route I applied initially for because I am fully qualified for it.
I need advice and help so I can be able to be granted what I am qualified for. Thank you everyone for taking much of your time to read this. I
