Need urgent help- Tier 1 earnings

Post by Inni_uk » Thu Feb 18, 2010 10:15 am

Hello Everyone,

I would be very thankful to anyone who can help with me in this situation and I request all the mods and OISC registered people to think and advise me please

Scenario:-

I am on a work permit (commercial work permit issued in 2006) and have been working since for my employer and would like to switch to Tier 1 general, I have started working part time for another company in the same profession as my WP since 10 Jan 2010 and I am getting paid every week by cheque and I am also getting payslips for the same.

Queries:-

1) I have payslips and bank statement confirming the earnings but the bank statement issued by HSBC shows my cheque deposit as " paid into 400621" and as credit- is that ok? As it doesn't say cheque deposit or anything which shows its my earnings?

2) Do I need a letter from my employer B, confirming my work was additional to the work I was issued a WP for and it was part time?

3) Do I need a confirmation from employer B that he is paying my taxes as per the deductions on my payslip? I queried this to him and his reply was, he pays taxes at the end of financial year around april/may every year and he will do the same for me

Please I need your urgent replies, please help………

Being on WP and if you are working for the company B as per the Working and conditions rules..

The best way to present you earnings from your Company B is get a Employer letter from the Cover Letter formats - Sticky on weekly basis and also put the CHEQUE No. in the table format so that your bankstatement will tally with this employer letter which will be a solid proof for you..

hope this helps..

You having the Employer letter from your employer which states the Gross-Net-Tax-Datecredited-Salaried month details in the letter. the ounce will be on ur employer to pay the tax.. and it is his responsibility;

HO will try to look into 2 evidences and once you submit proper Employer letter n bankstatements.. you are on safe side..

thanks ramesh,
i know some employers even though they deduct taxes, fail to pay taxes and employees have to suffer bcoz of that and i dont want to go through that thats why i aksed you
but if HO doesnt deep dive and is happy with two peices of information i provide them, i should be ok
its only that i am scared
