Would any one give me some advice what step do I need to take on my outstanding ILR (10 Years) application result which has been due since Feb 2012.
In Aug 2012 it was resulted as refusal as there was 1 month gap in between visa extensions back in 2005. Then, in Oct 2012 I went for appeal and and the case was withdrawn in the court by HO representative as HO case worker over looked my application in regards to the gap for my continuous stay in U.K. Because, the gap was there due to my passport lost and for the time it has taken to acquire new one. I know it was exactly 28 days delayed.
Then, in Nov 2012, I sent relevant evidences like Police report and other stuff to HO to support my application as I was told off by HO Rep in the court. Since then, I been contacting HO to get the update on my ILR application. But, every time I ended up getting the same answer that I need to wait as my application is under process.
Then, from my friend's advise, in March 2013, I approached my local MP to seek help. Even him, did not get any answer until end of May 2013. In June 1st week MP called me and said, 'he got reply from them stating that they received my supporting evidences and HO will sort out my application by end of Aug 2013' which left me with no options other than to wait until end of Aug 2013. In between, I have sent several fax messages to Liverpool settlement Team to ask the update as well. But, I never got any reply either.
Since 1st Sep 2013, i have been in touch Local MP who is telling me that he is going to contact HO again to ask for delay in response.
Now, I am totally in shambles. worried.
Don't know what to do next. I feel, My local MP is not that effective in getting proper answer from HO.Would you help me please with your thoughts and necessary steps which I need to take further..?
