NetherLand or UK

Post by Chris » Fri Apr 22, 2005 4:06 pm

Dear All,

I am in a dilemma for chosing the country where I should look for long term :? .

Basically I am in UK nearly 2 years now working for a bodyshopper, which I dont find it very secure. Very soon new immigration rules are going to hit UK system. Though I am optimistic but not very sure I would qualify for ILR after 2 more years, considering whether the rule would be retrospective.

Because of my rare skills I have an permanent offer in an Big MNC in Netherland which is paying me more than what I am getting in UK. Apart from that they have promised me to sponsor for ILR. I dont know what the ILR rule in Netherland. Also not sure how would I help myself up with the Language barrier as I am fluent in Engligh language only.

Though I would like to have a long term binding with UK, But the Netherland opportunity is equally lucarative.
Would really appreciate if anyone could share their views or expert guidance on my situation.

Thanks,
Chris.
