New additional job while waiting for decision

I already hold my ILR (tier 2, 5 yr route). My husband recently applied for his ILR and his application is still with the homeoffice. He is already employed and working for a company. I know that he is legally covered until the decision is made. My question is: He is trying for another job (additional one). Is my husband legally allowed to take this additional job while he is waiting for his decision from home office. TIA.

I assume he is your dependant but dependants have no work limitations at all under the rules
