The new form came to use a few days back so there is no way to say for sure the time frame for the new applicants based on the new form. The minister had promised an ambitious turn around time of 6 months. There are however over 20,00 applicants on the backlog. There has been appreciable progress in terms of timeline for decisions in recent weeks. We will have to wait for the next six months to see if the 6 months turn around time would be met for your cohort.
