New born child visa (parents have ILR and PBS depndent visa)

Hi,

I have ILR and my wife has PBS dependent visa (she is waiting for 5 yr completion to get ILR). But we are planning to go back to India permanently in next 2-3 yrs time.

I have read few topics in this forum about getting a British passort + OCI for new born kids.

We think, getting a British passort + OCI and going back to inida permamently may not be a best option for us.

If we apply for indian passport for my new born kid, which UK visa do we need to apply (dependent or ROA) ?
Or our thinking about British pssport+OCI is completely wrong ?
