New CAS letter issued

Post by SolitaryRomeo » Mon Apr 25, 2011 6:12 pm

Hello,

Could someone please help me regarding this matter:

My brother applied under the Tier4 Student Visa on 5th April.
The CAS letter that he had received from the college stated that he has paid about 60% of his fees in advance and the rest were yet to be paid.

However, this was incorrect. The visa application had gone through and I contacted the college to get the correct amount written on the CAS letter, because I had paid full amount of fees in advance.

My question is, does the new CAS letter have a different reference number to the first one? I am worried that when the officer looks for the CAS letter, he may not be able to find it under that reference number because a new one has been issued since.

Please help.

The college should be able to amend the information on the Cas rather than issue a new one.

thanks

the college printed me out another CAS letter which stated the correct amount of fee. I am not sure if this is a different reference number to the old one. or if they have only amended the information on it, but the reference number stayed the same....

If the ref stayed the same then it is the same Cas.
