New HSMP--When to apply --Strange predicament

Hi all,
I started to work in uk since oct 2005, so my latest p60 has only sal of oct to march. but i have 12 months payslips.
My fear is if the caseworker does not consider that i joined in oct( as the p60 does not anywhere specify that i joined in oct) I may loose out points on this.
Moreover as i started to work i UK since oct i dont have any p45 . this is my first job.
Should i apply now or should i wait till april 2007 when i get my next p60 and apply.
please help. I'm confused.

can you show bank statements for each of the months you're claiming?
can you provide a letter from employer stating your salary?

if so... i'd apply now.
