Post by sobit12345 » Wed Apr 08, 2009 4:41 pm

I am here in UK since 2007 April as an international student and am doing certified accounting technician in one of the college but I dont want to pass my time in college so recently i had got unconditional offer from the university of surrey in Beng medical engineering where the course commences from october 2009.my visa expires in june 30 2009.I also want to improve my english better so that i am joining the pre sessional course from 3rd august 2009.so that i am applying to the visa extension after one month.
According to the new rule of home office if the stay runs out more than one month then student need to go back and apply again.so it will be 32 days gap ie problem of 2 days.can i get the visa or they will make any problem.i am in the middle of certified technician but want to leave it.
please help me.

The policy is still not clear but i guess if u can do a cover letter explaining everything then it will be fine.

yes to HO when u r applying for your visa. just to let them know the situation, jot down everything precisely in your cover letter.
