New Settlement rules-Judicial Review 3 April 06 - 7 Nov 2006

Hi All,

Please can you help me to solve my issue ?

I got my Initial HSMP in Sep 2006 and Extened in Sep 2008 to Sep 2011.

I am eligible for Settlement in Aug 2011, The new settlement rules are going to affect me ?

Q1 : Do i need to show points system ?
Q2 : Do i need to pass Life in the Uk test ?
Q3 : My salary is only 27K per year ! ?

I am in the same positon as you and the new rules do not affect us so:
Q1 : No
Q2 : No
Q3 : As long as you are economic active at the time of ILR app, (I am only on £17k!!)
