Is a new version of form AN due anytime soon?

Hi All,

Do anyone know what was the last version of form AN used for naturalisation before the current one, the current one is October 2013, what was the one before it?

Am asking because am looking to naturalise around August this year and I want to fill in the form now or as soon as possible but I dont want to get my referees to sign the form on this version then find out the form has changed before I apply and thus asking them to sign again.

Is there any chance there will be a new version of form AN before August this year?

I noticed that most forms for other applications was changed earlier this month but nothing for form AN.

Not sure mate. Even am waiting for that as according to one of the user here there is a incorrect section for Eng lang requirement.

Am hoping some of the experts or someone can shed some light on this.

I think if we can know when the last version before this was it can help in guessing when the new one will be out.

The 2010 form was out there for several years and then the HO issued two version within a short period (basically one was a correction).

Unlike visa applications, there is no legal requirement to apply using the latest version. However, the HO expects the referencs to be less than 6 months old.

As you said no requirement to use the latest version, this is good news, I havent got the referees to sign yet but as am looking to apply around August having them sign now should still meet the less than 6 months requirement.

New form AN out - June 2014.

What?! I've been checking for the next version for a couple of weeks and now that I've got the October version filled in and signed by referees there's a new form out? What happens if I use the October form? Or can I just use the referee page from the October form and fill the rest of it in again in the new form? Have a NCS appointment on Wednesday!
