Newbie: NEED URGENT HELP

Post by MURizvi » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:22 pm

Hello All,

I am a full time student at an University. However, I am getting married in June, in Pakistan. When I come back to the UK my uncle has offered to give me a job on part-time basis, working some evenings and both weekends. I will continue to be a full-time student but I will be earning in excess of £160 per week after tax.

My question is, will I be able to sponsor my husband? What documentations would I need? And also would a letter from the local MP hold any value?

Thanks

It sounds as if that is OK, assuming your parent's property will not be classed as overcrowded if the spouse visa is granted.

Not at all, we have 4 bedrooms and 5 of us. I have my own room, mum dad have their own, and two others go to two siblings.

-Would I need a copy of my father's property's deed papers?
-Also, regarding bank statement, I intend to change my bank account for my pay to be sent through to, will this effect my application?
-Furthermore, will the nature of my job have an affect?
-Will my studies have any negative impact on the application
-How many payslips would I need? (Mind you, I have been in fulltime education for the past year and half)
-Any university letters I need, I.E. Timetable to assure my working hours don't clash with my work hours etc?
-Would his employment (he's a lecturer and owns a francise) there and education have any positive value on the application.
-Also, I had my name changed, will that have an effect, any documentations?
-I am divorced, would I need my divorce papers, although it happened over 6 years ago?

Sorry for the long hurdle of questions.

MURizvi, your reminder, after just 61 minutes, tut tut. Members here, including me, are allowed to sleep!

Also, you have just joined this board and the questions you asked have been asked many times before. Please spend an evening or two picking up on all the personal experience of those who have gone before you.

Ops sorry!

I have been searching on this forum or at least 4-5 hours last night. I haven't come across someone in my situation. I am a British Born, hence being a home student Most people are international students who marry people within the country.

Hence my situation and questions still stand.

Please could you advice me?

Here is my say on this issue.
First you need at least £100.75 per week after paying council tax and accommodation.

If you have free accommodation then you need £100.75 per week after paying council tax.

For accommodation you need

1.Yours parents permission letter
2.Title deeds and Title register of property
3.Property Inspection Report
4.Council tax and utility bills
5.House pics with measures at back.

Hope you have your answer.

Not exactly true. I would be wary of advice by given bya newbie who has just posted a few posts. The answers like JOhn siad lies in this forum.Maybe if you read the Spousal Visa from Pakistan section, you will find yourself in teh same boat as these people with the same problem and questions like yours.
