Newborn British Citizen Indian Visa

Hi, First topic, so pls be considerate

Both me and wifey are ILR holders, and afterwards we had a newborn baby. Therefore baby is eligible for British Passport, whihc I have just applied.

Plannig to visit india for few weeks in Feb'14 so wanted to know whats the best thing for bay to travel on - Indian Tourist Visa/OCI card etc.

Anyone who had any experiences!!

OCI card takes up to six weeks i think you don't have enough time, and its a lengthy process too and visit visa can take up to the same time the best way is to find a registered agent for indian embassy where he can easily get the visit visa for the child.

There is not sufficient time for OCI. Apply for tourist or entry visa upon receiving the british passport.

Visa processing time is normally few days.
