NHS Surcharge Question

My fiancé will enter the UK at the end of March on a D-MARRIAGE/CP Standard visa. We get married in June.
She is Australian and currently in Singapore.
We don’t believe the NHS surcharge was included in the cost of the Visa.
We want to know how we can pay this and get her on the NHS system so she can register at our local medical centre and importantly be included in the vaccination programme.

I believe that the "D-MARRIAGE/CP Standard visa" is a fiance visa. Is that correct?

If that is correct, then you were correctly not charged an IHS for that visa. The IHS will be charged when, after the marriage, your spouse applies for a regular spousal visa (which is also when her five year ILR clock starts.

To the best of my knowledge, she would not be covered by the NHS during the period between her arrival and the grant of her FLR(M) spousal visa. Best to invest in private health insurance for that period.

You can't buy the Immigration Health Surcharge with a fiance visa, she needs to buy private health insurance. She will need to pay the NHS at point of use, unless that service is free: if there is no insurance to pay, she will pay 150% of the NHS cost.

When you are married and she has been granted the FLR(M) visa, she will be able to use the NHS without charge as she would have paid the IHS with that visa application.

She needs to register with a GP when she lives in the UK, she doesn't need an Immigration Health Surcharge number for that.
