NICOP/VISA

Post by sabah92 » Sat Feb 14, 2015 2:53 am

Hello all.

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on a issue. Im a british national (born in pakistan) and hold a nicop card that is required for overseas pakistanis to travel visa free. Basically i have a flight booked for a few weeks later and had valid nicop however there were some modifications to be done on it (e.g. Address and fathers name which was changed as per deed poll) as i didnt want to be persecuted for not changing this. As well as this my sister is also travelling with me with modifications on her nicop (marital status and address changed). We now realise as the nicop will take 6-8 weeks to be done we require a family visit visa, however they require the nicop card and photocopies for the visa to be issued. We havent got the nicop cards with us as we had to surrender these at nadra Birmingham for modifications. Can we simply submit nicop photocopies and the nadra receipts for the visas to be granted to us. We can also submit our parents nicop card but require our birth certificate where my fathers name is the previous one, and may not be accepted and is quite an old copy from pakistan. And also do we need the British national visit visa or the dual nationals family visit visa as written on the Pakistan high commission website?

Many thanks.
