Non EEA spouse traveling to europe with eea husband

Hello everyone

We have applied for the RC for my wife a couple of months ago and we are still waiting for the response, However Due to the nature of my job i need to travel for some meetings around Europe next month.
So my question is , once we request the passports back does my wife need to apply for a shengen visa or can she just travel with me with a marriage certificate !!!
note that my wife still has a student visa valid till christmas so we will probably have no problem coming back !

No she can't just travel with you without a visa unless she holds a RC, She can only travel Europe without the family permit if the residence card issued under "article 10 of the Directive" and when you admitted to the eu country, you need to show them that you have the right of admission under EU law by showing your passports and marriage/ Birth certificate.

At the moment Treaty rights is not responding properly, many people have requested their documents to be returned but they didn't even send yet

No worries then she will just need to apply for an express Shengen visa then !!
