Non-EU girlfriend of a British citizen

Hi all,

What are the possible routes for a non-EU female to come to the UK to stay with her boyfriend? They are in a serious relationship for the last 1 year or so.

Thanks

1) Marry her and apply for a spouse visa

2) Get her over here on a visa in her own right (e.g. Tier 1)

3) Move to an EU country, live there for 6 months and try to bring her in as your partner, then come back under an EU Family Permit.

Not sure on this last one as to how your relationship would be seen in EU law and whether it'd actually be possible.
