"Not related" referee requirement

Just to double check.

There is requirement that referees must "not be related" to me.

One of my referees is solicitor who worked with me on buying a property (not immigration solicitor of course).

Another is the contractor who worked with our house.

So they are ok as referees, correct? I mean the term "not related" mean that they are not relatives or work with my application but otherwise we could work with each other, right?

'related' in this context is either blood relationship or relationship through matrimony.

referees must not be related to each other too.
