I have query regarding redundancy payment. Unluckily I have been made redundant by my company and haven't given my arears of salary, holiday pay and notice period pay.
I have been given form RP1 by the administrators to claim this money from government ( National insurance fund i believe).
I am in UK on Tier1 and will go for extension in near future. So my questions is whether I should go to claim my money. If I claim then will I be breaking the rule of 'No Recourse to public funds' which may create problem in my extension.

But I still wanted to take some suggestion from Gurus here who might have answered such questions earlier.
Also because of redundancy, I'll be applying for extension earlier like 4 months before my current tier1 expiry. This shouldn't be any problem right ?
