OCI employed in UK; Need to work from India temporarily

Hello , I am a British citizen with OCI. My parents live in India and I need to care for them. I go there 2-3 times a year for approx. month each time. I work in a UK company and in this one month I mostly work but do take off on travel days and for urgent works of parents that need to be taken care of.
Is it legal to do that? and is there any Tax implication in doing this ? and how many days in a financial year I can do this without breaking any rule?

As a British citizen, you can stay abroad as long as you want.
