OCI passport details update

Hello All,

Hope you can throw some light. I have submitted a request to update my passport details in my OCI over two months ago (over 50 years) and when I check the status I get the message “your application is acknowledged by the competent authority and will be updated soon”.

I thought the update will take around six weeks but it has now been over 8 weeks. Is this expected?
