OCI renew after Child's British passport renew?

OCI renew after Child's British passport renew?

Hi all,
I've just applied to renew my 5 yr old's British passport.
However we need to travel to India in a month time.

Que:
1. Do we need to renew OCI after renewing 5 yr old child's British passport?
2. If yes to que 1 then can we get eVisa for india instead as there is not much time left until we travel ?
