Old is gold?

Post by sohail » Sat Dec 25, 2004 3:08 pm

Hi all!!

I have got EC after HSMP approval. There are few interesting questions in my mind.

I was student in 1991-93 in UK. That time I had NHS number, Bank account and National insurance number. What do you recomend me? Should I get renewed old NHS, Bank account and social security number or I have all these things new.

Thanking you.

Sohail

AFAIK, your NI and NHS dont change.

You can open another bank account if you like and if you havent closed your previous account, you should still be able to use it.

Thanks Mwazir
Regarding bank accountit is clear.

Does it make any difference if I use old NHS and national insurance number or have new ones.

Sohail

Your National Insurance Number should still be valid. If you apply for a new one, they will be able to ascertain that you already have had one in the past, because its validated based on your passport etc.
