Old 5 year employer sponsored work permit - ILR new Set O

Hi there

I have an old 5 year work permit , originally arrived September 2005, since then have had 2 job changes, 2 work permit changes, and my last one was in September 2008, just before the category was closed.

I have valid leave to remain until October 2013.

My 5 years in UK passed in September 2010.

I married in December 2008 and my spouse is on a work permit dependant visa.

I feel like such an idiot for leaving it to this month to apply for ILR, especially since the Form Set O has changed.

So , I have no problem with the documentation, except it is a headache to have to get new forms from my employer,

the ILR is for both my spouse and me , but the only thing I am curious about is the :

[u][b]evidence of funds, how much would I have to show?[/b][/u]

besides my salary being paid into my bank of course?

There is no requirement of "minimum funds" for settlement application.

Sushdmehta, thanks for your response.

Now that there is a requirement to show your salary being paid into your bank account, will it matter if your account is overdrawn at month end, and you have an agreed overdraft with the bank.

I have savings accounts with funds in it as well and will submit statements just in case, but do you think they might look negatively on the overdrawn account, if that is the one your salary has been paid into.
