Mauricio Member Member # 1882 | Posted March 11, 2002 11:44 PM Dear Workpermit, I am a not EU student, I have just finished the taught part of a MSc. course. At the moment I am working on my dissertation that I suppose to hand in by 31st of August. I know that students are allowed to work just 20 hours per week during studding term. My question is how many hours I am allow to work on my current situation regarding that I have finished the taught part so I am not attending lectures, etc. The 20 hours per week restriction is still applying to me?? Thank you in advance… |
Alex the Warrior unregistered | Posted March 12, 2002 01:27 AM Provided your course was a full-time one, and as long as you have a valid student visa in your passport, you can work up to 20 hours per week in term time, and full time in holiday time. |
Mauricio Member Member # 1882 | Posted March 12, 2002 10:04 PM Thanks Alex, Yes I still have my student visa of course but I am not on holiday and I am not in student term, so can I work full time or just part time?? |
Alex the Warrior unregistered | Posted March 12, 2002 10:15 PM If you are still a student, but its not holidays, then you can work part-time. That's my understanding of the law. |
