Sorry, While on the Visit Visa (Being a Visa National) you cannot Switch into Workpermit.

Answer is you can Find an Employer, who Applies the Workpermit on your behalf and when your Workpermit Approves then you have to Goout from the UK for Entry Clearence.

I am not Sure that any Other Consulate or Embassy Except British High Comission in Delhi Will allow you to Apply Workpermit from their Country. Better to Check First.

And you should be ready for a lot of questions from imm. officers because they will suspect (quite reasonably) that you lied about the real reason of your trip to UK. Of course, if you honestly told them in advance that you were going to search a job in UK during your visit, everything will be OK.

As I see, and if I'm wrong I'm sure other posters will quickly rectify, you have a few options:
- If you qualify for a work permit of any sort, you have four months to find a job and an employeer who is willing to apply for your work permit. You will have to go back to India until the permit is sorted and then get clearance and come back
- You can enter "full time" education and try and switch to a student visa, which will entitle you to work part time. At least you will be in the country legally
- Don't consider staying beyond your visa validity because you may end up being deported and not allowed back

Mind you: the UK is not ready to welcome all the people in the world who go through "economic constraints", that is why there are filters in place (i.e. work permits etc)

Good luck whatever you decide to do

What you're mentioning (buying sponsorship for a work permit) is illegal. You're certainly not going to get advice from me about it
