I'm afride of difficulty to extend next student visa. What the best way to stay in the UK for me? I would be greatfull for any advice. Thanks. |

oshka Junior Member Member # 2412 | Posted December 26, 2002 08:08 PM Vadim, marrying a EU national and staying is not easy, don't be fooled. There are so many fake marriages around, that IND people will be literally "holding a candle" next to your bed to see if you perform your spousal duties. |

The point was to emphasise how diffucult it actually is to remain in the UK lawfully. I wouldn't suggest trying out any agencies either in UK or Russia/Ukraine - there have been enough documentaries how badly things can go should you get involved this way. Yes, student visa should probably be your primary objective. And while you're studying, you are allowed to work for up to 20 hours a week. |
