I'm working on relocating to the UK, and there is a company (www.oxygenonline.co.uk) who will "work to find me a contract position." It seems on the up and up, but I can't get any infromation from them. Has anyone used their service and paid the "commitment bond" ?

Yeah! I have already paid them 250 pounds over an year ago.... but nothing happened yet and now they have increased it to 450 and they are demanding the same. I advise you not to go for it.
Also, as per the new laws IT skills are moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2 of the two categories defined making workpermits for foreigners in IT field more difficult.
Probably, we have to patient till the market revives.

Hi Inspired,
'Nothing happened' - does it mean Oxygenonline failed in securing a work permit or the contract position. Did you faced any interviews?

What interview?
They are scam artists. At most they will have someone call you from their office and then you wont get through.

Amtrak seems shady. Called them up on the number displayed on the website and got nothing but a fax tone.

Hi WP_UK,

I never faced any interviews through Oxygen
Online. probably, lastman has got a good
point. I agree with him atleast because of
my current frustration...
