Gerhard Junior Member Member # 5284 | Posted April 25, 2003 09:31 AM Hi everyone, I've recently moved into a new house. Do I need to inform the HO of my change of address? If so, can I contact them by phone? Many thanks |

kaka_uet Member Member # 1548 | Posted April 25, 2003 11:58 AM I am not so sure if the HO has got the details of one's residential accommodation. That is to be maintained with the current employer, and if any steps are required for informing the HO in this regard, the employer would take the necessary measures. Furthermore, updating your contact details with the employer is not a legal obligation (I think!), but usually helps in decking the responsibility onto the Admin staff of informing the Inland Revenue, Medical Insurance provider, Pension provider etc etc. Regards -------------------- We are usually incarcerated by our alleged 'Freedom of Thought' |
Kayalami Member Member # 5984 | Posted April 25, 2003 12:16 PM You need only inform the HO of a change in address if you have an application pending with them. The HO will send any correspondence relating to your applicaiton to the address on your case file. -------------------- ---audi alteram partem--- |
