Hi all,

Its finally time to apply for ILR. I have read on this forum that since the £250 fees have been introduced the queues at Croydon are alot shorter then they use to be. I have the choice of overnighting at a firends house in Croydon and getting to Lunar House very early or working half a day and geting to Lunar house around 1pm. I would prefer going in the afternoon and I have seen some people on this board recommmend that. I just want to be sure of getting my ILR in one day. My case is relativly straight forward. Two conescutive WPs.

What would the group recommend?

Cheers,

marka

I think that if you get there late in the morning, say around 11am, your chances would be better in getting ILR the same day. But you definitely don't have to go there at 5am anymore.

Please let us know how it went. Good luck!

Was in Croydon two weeks ago to lend moral support to a friend and of course have a jolly off work ...she joined the queue at 12.30 p.m - was in the building by 1.30 p.m and out by 4.0 p.m. - its a min 2 hrs to get your ppt endorsed. If you have all docs a 1 p.m. arrival shouldn't be a prob...I know people who have turned up without photos or with just one and they had to go out and get them done at the risk of not being able to get back in but I am sure you are well organised.

Good Luck
