hsmphopeful Member Member # 7477	Posted February 26, 2004 10:30 AM I asked a member of the WP(UK) team the following question: Is it true that under-28 and/or in-country HSMP applications are given priority handling by the HSMP Team? And received the following answer: This is not true. All initial applications are currently taking between 6 and 8 weeks to process.

Jai Jawan Member Member # 7505	Posted February 26, 2004 12:25 PM I had posted my application on 3rd Feb....Recd by HSMP on 5th Feb...when I called them on 24th Feb, they replied that i should get in touch only after 19th March..That is the time when my application should come for processing.. So, that processing time 6 to 8 weeks seems to be true.
kishorebhosale Member Member # 7445	Posted February 26, 2004 12:49 PM Jawan.. from is your application in UK or outside UK. I too beleive in UK application are processed faster than application made outside UK, as indicated by someone earlier.

Unless there is some ambiguity around what is perceived by them as priority. Someone applied in early January, and got approval back well before the month was out. Cane
