Hi,

I have many queries while I am preparing my HSMP application and will be grateful if you can answer those:

1. Income Proof:
I am employed my a multinational and my salary structure is slightly complicated, my salary is split in two parts, one is the regular thing that i get it every month at the end while the other part is actually a reimbursement of my foreign education loan installment which I claim after I pay to my bank. I joined this company after my education abroad and hence it is part of my perks and not a sponsored arrangement. It will get reflected in my tax forms and a letter from my employer but does not get reflected in my salary slip and is also reflected seperately in my bank statement. What should I submit as my income proof and will this other part be considered for my income score?

2. Employment reference:
Is there a difference between employment certificate stating that I have work and the duration vis-a-vis employment reference letter and if yes, what is the difference?

3.Area of expertise:
How does HSMP team determine my area of expertise? Which are the websites through which I can download vaccancies related to my area of expertise (Marketing, Commercial,Analytical Research)?

4.English Proficiency:
What is the proof for proficiency in English? (I have a toefl score but cannot find original of the scorecard). I have always studied in English medium through my school, and three colleges..

It will be great to get your inputs.

Thanks in Advance

Tv,

Income Proof
------------
1). Show your contract of employment
2). Show your salary slips and write an explanation of your complicated payment structure
3). Provide a letter confirming the monetary value of your complicated 'perk'

Employment Reference
--------------------
1. This is used to confirm your roles and responsibility plus duration of employment and is very critical if you are claiming 'specialist' experience.

So its up to you to determine which of the documents best brings out the above requirements

3). Somewhere in the HSMP form you are required to state your profession

4). state that your language of 'Education' and 'Work' is English - you do not need to provide all those IELTs?? (whatever they are called ..scores)

Good Luck.

PS. If you are succesful with your HSMP and EC ..dont forget to buy some very 'warm' winter clothing....It has been 'freezing/snowing' all this weekend!!
