quote: You just made my Sunday Study hahahahahahahahahahahhah While we are still waiting for clarification from Rosemary to understand what she is trying to say, there is a 100% “studyuk2004 specific” co-relation in the above quotes that I have cut paste. From your past immature and childish comments, I recall you mentioning that you were a naturalised Brit…..hehehehehehehehehehehehehh you really made me LMAO, anyway keep talking ….… someday you will say something intelligent. |
studyuk2004 Member Member # 7154 | Posted March 07, 2004 03:23 PM Hahahahah You are such an idiot Dip. hahahaha hohohoh I said something really intelligent. Now since you have joined in, this thread will reduce to useless rant. OK OK.. so you are jealous of me. You spend your days and nights thinking about becoming a British citizen. hahahahaha Now go back to cleaning the dishes or Mr. Joe Patel will fire you. Please dont feel bad. Once you live in the UK for 14 years, you will qualify for an ILR. Untill then, keep Mr. Patel happy. You will not find a better boss. |
Chess Member Member # 7233 | Posted March 07, 2004 03:31 PM I find it rather very strange for people from the same part of the world to be all over each other!!! Whats the point?, cant we discuss useful stuff -------------------- .........Nkosi sikelele Africa |
Dip Member Member # 4428 | Posted March 07, 2004 04:52 PM Chess, You are right ...although I am not sure if you have a background to the language this self proclaimed Phd.. uses on the forum. Peteris and his post on moderation is history I guess. Reading studyuk's language, I would be surprised even if he has passed high school, let alone the blatant lie about doing a Phd .... have a quick look ... before he edits or even deletes them. He is quite known to do that. http://www.workpermit.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=recent_user_posts&u=00007154 Rgds Ps: Study - Keep talking someday you will say something intelligent... |
DarikUSA Junior Member Member # 7612 | Posted March 07, 2004 09:22 PM I would think a mix of disciplined, formal education plus one's own interest and work experience is better in my case. Sometimes my motivation to be good at my profession takes the best of me and sometimes fearing the loss of a good grade. Both keep me on track. |
studyuk2004 Member Member # 7154 | Posted March 08, 2004 05:50 AM Dip is jealous of me. Looks like he didn't get enough tips or may be Mr. Patel assaulted him. Hahahahah hohohohoh Oh my God, I revealed the truth. |
JGP Junior Member Member # 7704 | Posted March 09, 2004 12:39 AM I was wondering how tough it is to land an accounting/finance job in the UK without being a chartered (ACCA), since Uk is the home of ACCA. |
Dip Member Member # 4428 | Posted March 09, 2004 04:00 PM JGP - A Cost Account/CIMA qualification or big time experience in Accounts is good enough for a migrant. Not all accounting/finance jobs are filled by a Chartered Accountant, there are people with other qualifications too in this field. Rgds Studyuk2004 ..... Don't let your mind wander; its far too small to be let out on its own. |
JGP Junior Member Member # 7704 | Posted March 10, 2004 12:54 AM Thanks Dip, I have bachelors degree in Acctg., diploma in Finance and I have a few months left to complete a MSc. in IT area, I started ACCA but gave it up with one subject to go to clear level 2. I really hope to get into IT eventually but figure that if I get to the UK I'd have to try getting a Finance/Acctg. job first. My work experience is in Finance/Acctg. in a UK owned multi national firm, I really hope the job prospects are not too bad for me. |
studyuk2004 Member Member # 7154 | Posted March 10, 2004 09:03 AM Dip, Work hard. Keep Mr. Patel happy. Wash dishes properly and in 14 years you will get ILR. |
Dip Member Member # 4428 | Posted March 10, 2004 02:41 PM JGP, I am a bit confused on the area you wish to pursue - IT or Accounts?. I don't know much about IT, but can tell you a bit about Finance/Acctg. Jobs in Finance/Acctg are quite stable. In terms of demand, it gets better the more you move out of central London. www.reed.co.uk is a good place for you to look for jobs. Their website has external posters in this field. If you wish to peruse Fin/Acc line, I suggest you complete ACCA. It only increases your chance of success, especially given that you have one hand in IT as well. A combination of the two can really be good for companies that are looking to move into more sophisticated accounting packages and cross border accounting.... The initial stumbling block here is the UK experience they normally ask. In your case, it appears to be a wee bit easier to cross it as you have worked for a UK based multinational. I would be surprised if you had difficulty in finding jobs in the UK. Good luck Rgds |
Dip Member Member # 4428 | Posted March 10, 2004 02:42 PM Studyuk - I don't know what makes you so dumb, but it really really really.... works BIG time |
